What No Shorts Does

No Shorts is a browser extension that hides YouTube Shorts content from your browsing experience. It runs entirely in your browser and does not collect, store, or transmit any browsing data.

Data We Collect

Email address (optional): When you first install No Shorts, you are invited to join The O.G. Newsletter. If you choose to enter your email, it is sent to Beehiiv (our email newsletter provider) to subscribe you. You can skip this step entirely — the extension works the same either way.

Local preferences: Your settings (blocking on/off) are stored locally in your browser using the extension’s built-in storage. This data never leaves your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No browsing history
• No YouTube watch history
• No personally identifiable information (beyond optional email)
• No analytics or tracking
• No cookies

Third-Party Services

If you choose to provide your email, it is shared with Beehiiv (https://www.beehiiv.com) solely for the purpose of delivering The O.G. Newsletter. Beehiiv’s privacy policy can be found at https://www.beehiiv.com/privacy.

No data is shared with any other third party.

Your Rights

• You can skip the email signup entirely
• You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
• Unsubscribing does not affect your use of the extension
• You can uninstall the extension at any time, which removes all locally stored data
